Wash Day Rentals rents washers and dryers to residential customers in west Georgia. Wash Day Rentals is a trade name of Georgia Cleaning Company LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
When you request or start a rental, we collect:
- Your name, phone number, email address, and delivery address
- Which appliances you need and your dryer outlet type
- An optional photo of your laundry space
- A photo of your government-issued ID, used to verify identity
- Payment information, processed by our payment provider
- Basic website analytics such as pages visited and approximate region
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Confirm who you are and that the delivery address is valid
- Schedule and complete delivery and installation
- Collect rental payments
- Service, repair, or swap your appliance
- Communicate with you about your rental
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to your rental.
Text messages (SMS)
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you give us permission, Wash Day Rentals may send you text messages about your rental inquiry, your delivery window, scheduling, and service. You give permission by checking the consent box on our rental form, by texting us first, or by telling us on the phone that it is okay to text you.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Opting out of text messages does not affect your rental — we will reach you by phone or email instead. Full terms are on our Terms & Conditions page.
Your ID photo
We ask for a photo of your ID only to confirm your identity before we deliver an appliance to your home. Once identity is verified, the image is deleted. We do not keep a copy, and we do not share it with anyone.
Credit
We do not run credit checks and we do not report your rental account to credit bureaus. Nothing about your rental with Wash Day Rentals appears on your credit report.
Asset tags
Each appliance carries a QR asset tag used for our own service records. Scanning that tag does not expose any customer name, address, or account information.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is necessary with the service providers who help us run the business:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — secure storage of rental records
- Vercel — website hosting
- Twilio — sending and receiving text messages
- Meta — only if you contact us through Facebook or Marketplace
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as needed to recover an appliance that has not been returned.
How long we keep it
We keep rental records for as long as you are a customer and afterward as needed for tax and accounting purposes. ID photos are deleted after verification, as described above.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it once your rental has ended. Contact us using the information below and we will respond.
