Terms & Conditions
Wash Day Rentals · Georgia Cleaning Company LLC · Last updated October 8, 2026
- $60 a month for a washer and dryer set, tax included. Your rate never goes up.
- 6-month minimum, then month to month.
- $100 to start: first month's rent plus a $40 refundable deposit.
- Delivery, installation, and repairs are free. No credit check.
- If rent goes unpaid, we text you twice, then switch the washer off on the 7th day. It comes back on when you pay.
These terms apply to every rental from Wash Day Rentals, a trade name of Georgia Cleaning Company LLC, PO Box 327, West Point, GA 31833 (“Wash Day,” “we,” “us”). The signed Rental Agreement you receive at delivery is the full contract; these terms summarize it and apply the same rules. If anything here differs from your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
1. The rental
We rent you the washer and/or dryer listed on your Rental Agreement. Each machine carries a Wash Day asset tag with a QR code. The equipment remains the property of Wash Day Rentals at all times. You are renting it; you do not own it and you do not earn ownership by paying rent. This is not a sale, a lease-to-own, or a credit transaction.
2. Term and rent
Rent is $60 per month for a washer and dryer set, or $45 per month for a single machine. Rent includes sales tax. There are no delivery, installation, or repair charges.
The minimum term is 6 months, starting on the day we install (your “Install Date”). After 6 months the rental continues month to month until you or we end it (Section 10).
Your rate is locked for as long as you rent from us. We will not raise your monthly rent while your rental is in effect, even if our advertised prices go up.
3. What you pay to start
Before we schedule delivery you pay $100 for a set ($85 for a single machine). This is your first month's rent plus a $40 refundable security deposit.
The deposit is not a fee. We hold it for the life of the rental and return it when the equipment comes back in good condition and your account is paid in full. We may apply it to unpaid rent, fees, or damage beyond normal wear before returning any balance.
4. Monthly payments
Rent is due on the same calendar day each month as your Install Date. Payments are made through our payment processor (Stripe) by debit card, credit card, or bank account (ACH). You authorize us to charge your payment method on file on each due date, and for any other amount you owe after we have notified you.
A bank (ACH) payment takes several business days to clear. Rent is considered paid when the funds clear. A returned or reversed payment is treated as unpaid.
We do not run credit checks and we do not report to credit bureaus. You can update your payment method at any time by texting Rob.
5. Delivery and installation
Delivery, installation, and hookup to your existing connections are included. We install on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in the window you booked. You confirm that your laundry area has:
- A standard 120V outlet, hot and cold water supply with shutoff valves, and a working drain for the washer;
- For an electric dryer, a 240V dryer outlet (3-prong or 4-prong) and a vent to the outside;
- A clear path and enough space for the machines.
We do not install or repair plumbing, electrical outlets, breakers, or vent ducting. If the hookups are missing or unsafe when we arrive, we reschedule once at no charge after you have them fixed. A second wasted trip is $35.
We verify your government-issued photo ID at delivery and may decline to install if it does not match the renter named on the agreement.
6. Repairs and service
If a machine stops working, we fix it or replace it at no charge for normal mechanical failure. There is no service call fee and no diagnostic fee. To request service, scan the QR tag on the machine or text Rob at 706-333-2787.
You pay for repairs caused by misuse — overloading, washing items that damage the machine, wrong detergent, moving the machine, or attempted repairs by you or someone you hired. We will tell you the cost before doing the work. Do not open, repair, or modify the equipment or let anyone else do so.
7. Your responsibilities
- Keep the equipment at the delivery address. Do not move it without our written OK. If you move, text Rob first; relocation within our service area is a one-time $35 fee.
- Leave the Wash Day asset tags on the machines. Removing or covering a tag is a breach.
- Do not sell, pawn, lend, or sublet the equipment.
- Use it only for ordinary household laundry and tell us promptly if anything is wrong.
- Give us reasonable access to inspect, repair, or remove the equipment at an arranged time.
You are responsible for loss, theft, or damage while the equipment is in your possession, other than normal wear and mechanical failure.
8. Late payment and remote shutoff
If your rent is not paid on the due date, this is what happens, in order:
- Day 1 past due — first text notice. We text you that the payment did not go through.
- Day 4 past due — second text notice. We text you again and tell you the washer will be switched off if rent is not paid by the 7th day.
- Day 7 past due — the washer is switched off. We may remotely switch off power to the washer using the device described in Section 9. The dryer is not affected. As soon as your payment clears, we switch it back on, usually within the hour.
- Day 14 past due — default. You are in default (Section 11) and we may pick up the equipment.
We will never switch off the washer without first sending both text notices to the mobile number on your agreement. If you are having trouble paying, text Rob before the due date — we would rather work out a date with you than switch anything off.
There is no late fee. The consequence of not paying is that the washer stops working, not that your bill grows.
9. The remote shutoff device
What it does
- Switches the washer's power off when rent is 7 or more days past due, after two text notices, and back on when payment clears.
- Reports whether the washer is powered and connected, and how much electricity it is drawing, so we can confirm the switch worked and spot a machine with a problem.
What it does not do
- It has no microphone, camera, or location tracking. It does not record anything you say or do.
- It does not collect personal information. It knows only the washer's power state and electricity use, tied to the asset tag number, not to your name.
- It does not control the dryer or anything else in your home.
- It cannot damage the washer or your home. Switching off is the same as unplugging the machine.
If the device loses its connection, the washer stays on
The switch is built to fail in the on position. A Wi-Fi outage, a power flicker, or a problem on our end never shuts off your washer. Only a deliberate command from Wash Day, under Section 8, does.
Connection
The device connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. You agree to let it connect to your home Wi-Fi network and to tell us if you change your network name or password. We use your Wi-Fi only for this device's connection; we do not access your network, your other devices, or your internet traffic.
No tampering
You agree not to remove, disconnect, bypass, or interfere with the device, and not to let anyone else do so. Doing so is a breach, makes you responsible for the cost of repairing the washer, and allows us to end the rental and pick up the equipment.
10. Ending the rental
After the 6-month minimum, either of us can end the rental with at least 14 days' notice by text. Rent for the final month is not prorated.
Before 6 months, you may end the rental by paying a $50 early termination fee plus any rent already due. The fee replaces the rent for the remaining months of the minimum term.
Pickup. We arrange a pickup time with you. If we cannot get access after two scheduled attempts, rent continues until we do.
Deposit refund. Within 14 days after pickup we refund your $40 deposit to your payment method on file, less any unpaid rent, fees, or damage beyond normal wear. We text you an itemized statement if we keep any part of it.
11. Default and collections
You are in default if rent is 14 or more days past due, if you tamper with the shutoff device or the asset tags, if you move or dispose of the equipment, or if you otherwise breach these terms and do not fix it within 7 days of our text asking you to. In default, we may end the rental immediately and pick up the equipment. You then owe:
- All unpaid rent through the pickup date;
- If pickup is within the 6-month minimum, the $50 early termination fee;
- The cost of any damage beyond normal wear; and
- If the equipment is not returned within 14 days of our request, its replacement value: $350 for a washer, $300 for a dryer, $650 for a set, less the deposit.
We may send an unpaid balance to a collection agency, and you agree to pay our reasonable collection costs, including attorney's fees and court costs, as allowed by Georgia law. Keeping rented property after the owner has asked for it back may be a crime under Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 16-8-19).
12. SMS Terms
What we send
By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box on our website, or by texting us, you agree to receive text messages from Wash Day Rentals about your rental: delivery and service scheduling, payment reminders, the late-payment notices described in Section 8, and a one-time request for a review after installation. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
How you opt in
You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our callback or rental request form, or by texting us first. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of renting from us.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply START to opt back in. Opting out of texts does not change your rent obligations; if you opt out, we send the Section 8 notices by email to the address on your agreement instead, and the same timeline applies.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message, text Rob at 706-333-2787, or email rob@washdayrentals.com.

Your data
We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
